We welcome you warmly to Yoga Kula. We want to maintain a yogic atmosphere and to make sure we are considerate to the people we share our building with.
Please follow these simple guidelines to ensure we maintain our lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
Remove shoes and leave tidily in the spaces provided in the reception area.
Shoes are not permitted in the Yoga Kula studio at any time.
Ensure your mobile phone is on silent at all times whilst at Yoga Kula. Phone calls are not to be made in the studio space.
For the smooth running and enjoyment of all classes, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class is due to start. We are unable to admit anyone arriving once the class has started under and you will not receive a refund. If you are late please do not buzz as you will not be given access and you will disturb the class in progress.
Please help to keep the studio and reception spaces clean and tidy. Rubbish must be put in the bins provided and used cups in the kitchen area.
Please speak quietly whilst in the studio space as some people may be resting or meditating before the start of the class. This also helps to maintain our calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Practice the yogic principle of SAUCHA, which means cleanliness of mind, body, spirit and surroundings. We ask our students to maintain a high level of personal hygiene whilst in the Yoga Kula space.
Please clean yoga mats with the sprays and clothes provided after practice. Please props away tidily after your class, fold the blankets, store bricks and blocks neatly and roll up any straps used.
Do not chew gum or eat during any yoga practice.
Drinks aside from water and herbal tea must not be taken into the Yoga Kula studio space.
Let your teacher know of any injuries before the start of the Yoga session, this will allow them to offer appropriate modifications and adaptations where necessary.
Please wear shoes when leaving the studio reception – eg to use the toilets. This ensures our studio space is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
Please change in the changing room provided, we ask students to not change in the toilets as we share these with other businesses in our building.
