Our 300 hour 18 month course (1 weekend per month) ensures graduates are prepared for life as a professional yoga teacher in the ever growing holistic health industry.

We offer opportunities to become involved with Yoga Kula events to gain invaluable hands on professional experience.
We offer opportunities to teach free timetabled classes at Yoga Kula to gain experience in developing, managing and delivering a yoga class.
Trainees receive a 33% discount from an 18 month class pass membership with Yoga Kula in order to support your ongoing development for the duration of the course.

our assessments are a mixture of written, practical and creative assignments which have been designed to support trainees to develop useful skills for their professional yoga teaching life.

over the duration of the course, trainees are supported to develop an area of particular interest and move deeper, realise their uniqueness and strengths as a teacher and begin refining their yoga offering.
your time spent on the course is an amazing opportunity to create strong and lasting bonds with fellow trainees and the Yoga Kula team and move into the yoga teaching world with an existing network.
this yoga teacher training course is also suitable for those who would like to deepen their existing yoga practice but do not necessarily wish to become teachers on graduation.
trainees are allocated a yoga teacher mentor for support and are placed in peer study groups in order to practice and stay in touch with the material introduced over study weekends.
All Trainees are registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals for the duration of the course.

a £750 deposit will be required to secure your place this will be payable only after an initial stage interview and review of your application by our Academic Board
the £750 deposit is followed by a remaining £3,200 payment which is required no less than 8 weeks before the course commences

our yoga teacher training programme are longer and more comprehensive than . though our training has its foundational place in hatha yoga, we have tailored our programme to cover many different aspects and practices to ensure trainees leave with a well-rounded understanding of a hugely diverse range of topics (and have the opportunity to find the deeply personal principles that resonate most strongly for them).

Our yoga training weekends take place at our dedicated yoga studios in chapel allerton, leeds. the studio is easily accessible by road, and has off street parking available

sessions take place one weekend per month on a friday evening, saturday afternoon and sunday afternoon to ensure training is accessible to everyone, even those with packed schedules and other work or family commitments.

we do ask that our trainees hold space for their training as far as possible. please speak to your trainer if you know you will not be able to attend a certain session or weekend, and they will do their best to arrange an alternative learning pathway for you.

to benefit from the course, you must be comfortable with foundational poses, pranayama, and basic meditation practices when you begin the course. you must also be keen to explore yoga beyond its physical postures, and delve deeper into the philosophy, ethics and history of the practice. most of all, however, you need to have a genuine passion for helping others learn, heal and grow, and be able to hold space for these individuals as they lean on you for guidance and support during their own journeys.
